#17 The Dallas Cowboys

Tony Romo. Can he carry this team? He still has a great TE in Witten, but how will Romo handle this team without T.O. Forget his off the field issues and he's one of the ELITE players in the NFL. Right up there with Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Larry Fitzgerald, Julius Peppers and the like. I mean, this guy can play ball. And he's gone.

As I said before when writing the Redskins preview, the NFC East is not easy at all. As a matter of fact, there are perhaps only a handful of games that are locks. Tampa, KC, Seattle, Oakland and the home game against Washington. Unless they can use that monstrous scoreboard as a distinct advantage, let's call this 7-9 campaign the final run for Wade Phillips unless there is a decent playoff run.
